New YOKKAO Shop Opens in Phuket
Visitors on Muay Thai vacations in Phuket now have another great option when it comes to shopping for gear. After a long wait, the first official YOKKAO shop in Phuket has finally opened.
Phuket is the largest of Thailand’s many beach getaways. Nestled in the Andaman Sea the island is peppered with picturesque beaches surrounded by lush rainforests and scenic mountains. Besides being a favored destination of beach-lovers, the island has a fully-developed Muay Thai training scene that caters to both casual and serious Muay Thai practitioners.
In tandem with the opening of the store, YOKKAO Next Generation was recently held on Phuket for the first time at the famous Bangla Boxing Stadium. With a large pool of young, promising talents training on the island, the Next Generation initiative gave these fighters the platform to showcase their skills.
The new YOKKAO store is located near to the main Soi Ta-Iad street, famously referred to as ‘Fitness Street’ for a densely-populated collection of Muay Thai gyms. The shop will carry a wide range of Muay Thai essentials including boxing gloves, shin guards, shorts, and apparel from the brand’s latest collections and bestselling classics.
