YOKKAO 36: Harrison Takes On Naccari In Anticipated Return
One highly-anticipated appearance on YOKKAO 35 - 36 has to be the return of Liam Harrison to the YOKKAO ring. With about a month left to fight night, Harrison’s match-up has just been finalized. The UK number one will take on Italian fighter Ivan Naccari.
Naccari recently fought on the YOKKAO Next Generation promotion that took place on 1 December in Bologna. The Italian fighter impressed both the judges and promoter to secure the win as well as a spot on YOKKAO 36 to face Harrison. Naccari is a regular on the European Muay Thai and kickboxing circuits, and is well known for his KO power. This will be one of the biggest fights in his career when he goes head on against the UK legend.
Harrison needs little introduction for global fans of Muay Thai. The Hitman is a multiple-time world champion known for his ferocious hard-hitting style that has helped him end half of his fights via knockouts. His appearance on YOKKAO 27 saw him winning via a crippling low kick finish, that remains one of the most talked-about fights. Harrison is the current YOKKAO world champion - 65kg with 2 successful title defenses to date and a reign he will look to extend. This is expected to be an explosive meet when the 2 KO extraordinaires clash in the ring.
Besides Harrison vs Naccari, YOKKAO 35 - 36 hosts a list of exciting match-ups starring notable Muay Thai stars such as Saenchai, Singdam, and Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee. Three championship bouts are also featured on the card with Manachai vs Luca Falco for the WMC Intercontinental title; Spencer Brown vs Luca Roma for the WBC Super-Lightweight European title; and Yodchai vs Jonathan Astarita for the WBC Lightweight Intercontinental title.
