YOKKAO 36: Manachai Takes On Luca Falco for WMC Title
A spot on the YOKKAO 35 - 36 fight card has long been reserved for Manachai. His opponent for the 26 January event in Turin Italy is finally confirmed with the stakes doubled - the YOKKAO star will take on Italian fighter Luca Falco for the WMC Intercontinental title.
This is set to be Manachai’s second title bout following his October win in Hong Kong for the WBC Muay Thai world welterweight belt. The 22 year-old is also coming off a 4-win streak with 14 victories in his last 15 outings and it doesn’t look like he will be slowing down. Manachai will now look to add another piece of gold as he builds his legacy.
In the contest for the WMC Intercontinental belt is Luca Falco who fights out of Herculaneum Training Center in Naples Italy. Like Manachai, the 29 year-old Falco is an adept of the low kick with strong left middle kick to match. He was recently crowned the WTKA Italian champion and will be going into the ring with his eyes on the WMC belt. It’s an all-out war and neither side is having it easy.
YOKKAO 35 - 36 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting Muay Thai events for fans of the sport. A star-studded lineup is confirmed featuring notable names such as Saenchai, Singdam, Yodchai, Spencer Brown, Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee and Liam Harrison. Look out for the final card details which will be released in the coming days.
