YOKKAO 14 e YOKKAO 15 sono esauriti!
Since I heard that Saenchai would be fighting in YOKKAO 14, I have been totally thrilled. Throw your mind back to May when YOKKAO Key person Stefania Picelli, Saenchai and Pakorn were travelling the UK visiting different gyms running seminars, generating mad buzz and being totally awesome. I loved following their journey around the UK. They were posting fun videos of them doing crazy things, all the while hosting professional seminars that looked like so much fun. Stefania Picelli, Pakorn PKSaenchaimuaythaigym, Brian Calder[/caption] Soon after they had finished the last seminars in the UK as they were heading over to the US, there was a huge announcement - Saenchai would be returning to the UK fighting at the upcoming October event in Bolton! It felt like such a distant time but I already became pumped to be able to see Saenchai fight in the UK in person! To have the opportunity to see him now, wicked! Since then, Stefania Picelli and Brian Calder, one of YOKKAO's event promoter have been really busy. I had the chance to meet up with Brian Calder earlier today and catch up with what he has been up to and his thoughts about the upcoming show. Calder said: “I am really excited for the upcoming show on the 10th of October, the most exciting thing about it is the event as a whole is unparalleled anywhere. Our events grow bigger and bigger each time and the fights, well, they speak for themselves. The tickets are basically all sold out and we still have 8 weeks before the event, something totally unheard of. This is the premier Muay Thai Event in the World and is not to be missed.” When Brian stated that the events grow bigger and bigger each time, he isn’t lying. This year, YOKKAO is set to host two events in the UK alone, with one surpassing the other! The first was this past March where we saw legendary battle of Pakorn defending his title against Liam Harrison - check it out online! YOKKAO 14 & 15 in October is coming up fast: we will be seeing Saenchai vs Greg Wootton, Liam Harrison and Singdam fight and plenty more top level fights too. One of the previously mentioned fights could alone headline an event but to have them together is just immense! Wrapping up, I am massively excited about the upcoming YOKKAO Events and have been since May when they were first announced. I will be reporting about the event on the ground as it happens and will be backstage doing some flash-interviews with the fighters. Something, which I never thought I would get the opportunity to do!
